Stay in flow
Keep common keyframe operations close to the shot. EasyFreak is built around sliders, hotkeys, compact UI states, and quick feedback so the animator can try ideas without breaking concentration.
animFray will be a home for animator-focused ideas, resources, and practical production tools. It begins with EasyFreak, a Maya tool designed to help you shape keys, adjust timing, blend values, smooth motion, and work seamlessly in the graph editor.
animFray is born from someone who has worn many hats during his time in the industry. From Generalist, to Rigger, to Animator, to Technical Artist and Back. There are 20 + years of experience and thought that are collectivley going in to what is being made here. The mission is to spare no effort in creating the best possible experience to help you on your day to day animation journey.
Keep common keyframe operations close to the shot. EasyFreak is built around sliders, hotkeys, compact UI states, and quick feedback so the animator can try ideas without breaking concentration.
Make curve decisions through simple controls for easing, blending, smoothing, noise, time/value pushes, and graph-editor cleanup instead of digging through menus or rebuilding keys by hand.
Every tool should be practical, reversible, and clear about what it is changing. animFray tools are meant to support taste and craft, not hide the animation process behind a black box.
A focused Maya workflow for animators who spend their day shaping keys, testing timing, polishing curves, and trying to keep momentum inside production scenes.
EasyFreak gives Maya animators a compact control surface for selected keys: ease, tween, blend, smooth, time-stretch values, add controlled noise, work with audio-driven motion, and make graph-editor decisions faster.
animFray will grow around small, focused utilities that solve real production problems: curve cleanup, animation review, workflow experiments, and tools that deserve to stand on their own outside EasyFreak.
The animFray site is the front door for a growing Maya tool family. EasyFreak starts with the core animation pain points. Future tools can stay focused, modular, and easy to understand.
EasyFreak focuses on the decisions animators repeat constantly: ease, blend, smooth, offset, reshape, and compare motion quickly.
A tool should invite tests. Sliders, cached selections, visual feedback, and clear defaults make it easier to explore without committing too early.
Downloads and update metadata stay under the EasyFreak release path so users and in-tool update checks have one reliable source.
Future fRay tools should come from actual animation problems, not feature checklists.
Use EasyFreak when you want to keep your hands on the shot: shape keys, test timing, smooth rough motion, add controlled variation, and move through curve decisions with less friction.
